It is the third sunday of advent…
The first candle stands for joy
the second candle for hope
the third for longing….
And a day for longing it turned out to be for four families today.
A house burnt “to the ground” in the small town I grew up in. Killing four young adults!
I know the people that lived in the house, and it has been such a sad day. I don’t want to go into details on the blog about this…
I had so many plans for today.. BUT I lost every will to do anything with these sad news.
Will be back with something happier tomorrow!

Oh, Monica! I'm so sorry to hear about your friends. Just take care of yourslef and know you'll be in my prayers.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
This the second horrible story I heard in two days via blogging. I just heard about a stabbing killing a mother , father and smallest child. Luckily the three older boys survived but are now parentless. Such pain during what should be a joyous time. My heart aches for you and all those that are suffering.
Let us count our blessings

Monica-
I am so sorry about your friends and their home. Thank you for the beautiful Advent Candle post to help remember what the season is about and to remind us to count our blessings.
There have been so many devastating losses recently. My heart aches for you. I pray for strength to get you through this time.
